The Old Miller House
The old Miller House had been abandoned for decades, its once grand façade now crumbling and overgrown with weeds. There was always rumours of the ghost of the Miller family who had died in a tragic fire that had consumed the house.

My friends and I, being the thrill-seekers that we were, decided to investigate the house one night. As we entered, the musty smell of decay filled our nostrils and cobwebs clung to our faces. We made our way through the rooms, taking note of the peeling wallpaper and broken furniture.

As we reached the second floor, we heard a strange noise coming from one of the bedrooms. We cautiously approached the door and peered inside. To our shock, we saw the ghostly figure of a young girl, standing in the corner of the room. She looked up at us with sad eyes and then vanished into thin air.

We were terrified and quickly left the house. But the image of the ghostly girl stayed with us, her sad eyes haunting our dreams.

We later found out from the local historian that in youngest daughter from the Miller family was the only one who had not made it out alive. It was said that her spirit still lingered in the house, unable to find peace.

From that day on, we never dared to enter the Miller House again. But the memory of the ghostly girl stays with me to this day, a reminder of the tragedy that occurred in that place and the spirit who still haunts it.
